We are partnering with a leading Engineering business seeking experienced Full Stack Software Engineers to help deliver mission-critical capabilities that protect the UK's security and prosperity. You will work at the intersection of advanced engineering and real-world problem-solving, developing cutting-edge products that counter evolving threats.
Our teams work with leading technologies across AI/DS, Cyber, Cloud, DevOps/SRE, and Platform Engineering, supporting customers across the National Security, Defence and Intelligence community. What You'll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and delivering secure, high-quality software solutions.
- Producing clean, test-driven code and ensuring adherence to engineering best practice.
- Translating logical designs into physical implementations and producing detailed designs.
- Integrating UI/API components with existing data stores and services.
- Maintaining and enhancing architectural elements such as data ingest pipelines, data stores and REST APIs.
- Collaborating with user researchers, product teams, and customers to align solutions with real user needs.
- Participating fully in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and backlog refinement.
- Contributing to technical strategy, innovation, and tactical upskilling across emerging technologies.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Spring Boot and Java Enterprise development.
- Front-end proficiency with React, Vue.js, or AngularJS.
- Experience with modern testing frameworks and TDD.
- Ability to work across UI, API, and data layers.
- Technically curious and willing to adopt emerging tools and approaches.
- Strong documentation and design discipline.
