FPGA Engineer
Eligibility: Sole UK National, from birth
Security Clearance: Active SC or eligible for SC
Location: Derby (Onsite)
Rate: £65 – £95/hour DOE (Inside IR35)
Contract: 6 Months (likely to extend)

We\’re partnering with a leading consultancy that delivers innovative systems and engineering solutions to their clients. They have an established capability in nuclear control system design & verification and are looking to grow their FPGA team in Derby.
Requirements:
- A thorough understanding of FPGA concepts and hardware design.
- Proficiency in VHDL design toolsets and verification suites.
- Experience developing complex FPGA architectures and design solutions.
- Requirements capture and development.
- Conduct FPGA synthesis, place and route, and timing closure to meet performance targets.
- Develop supporting software to maximize the efficiency of the FPGA design lifecycle, e.g., test scripts.
- Troubleshoot and debug FPGA designs, identifying and resolving issues in a demanding environment.
Eligibility:
To be considered for the role, you must have active SC Clearance OR be eligible for clearance (Sole UK National from birth + Residence in the UK for the past 5 years).
