Sanderson Government and Defence are supporting a global consultancy delivering large scale security transformation across public sector and enterprise clients. They are hiring a Zero Trust Security Architect to lead solution design, client engagement and sales activity across Zero Trust, network and endpoint security.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pre-Sales Solutions Design: Leading the design of Zero Trust and network security solutions aligned to client requirements; Working with sales teams to shape client opportunities and develop winning propositions; Translating complex technical solutions into clear commercial value for clients; Supporting bids, proposals and client presentations across secure and enterprise environments; Building strong relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Architecture & Design: Designing enterprise scale Zero Trust architectures across users, devices, applications and data; Defining secure access models using cloud based platforms and identity led controls including SSO, MFA and least privilege; Developing security blueprints and reference architectures aligned to NIST 800-207, SASE and SSE; Supporting network transformation including WAN modernisation, segmentation and secure access; Aligning endpoint and network security with modern cloud first architectures.
  • Technical Delivery and Validation: Leading technical validation, proof of concept and solution demonstrations; Supporting integration across identity providers, SIEM, endpoint and network tooling; Advising on migration from legacy VPN and network controls to Zero Trust models; Working closely with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implementable and scalable.
  • Security Leadership and Capability: Providing technical leadership across client engagements and internal teams; Supporting development of security strategy and roadmaps; Driving adoption of modern security frameworks and secure by design principles; Mentoring junior engineers and architects; Contributing to growth of network and Zero Trust capability.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in cybersecurity architecture or senior engineering roles.
  • Deep understanding of Zero Trust frameworks, network security and endpoint security.
  • Hands on experience with cloud delivered security platforms such as Zscaler or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM including Entra ID, Okta or Ping.
  • Experience in pre-sales, solution design or client facing consulting environments.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders and support revenue generation.
