We're hiring an experienced SC-cleared Data Analyst to support a major central government programme, delivering high-quality insight, reporting, and analysis to inform policy and operational decision-making. This role sits within a multidisciplinary digital and data team, working closely with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders. You'll play a key role in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insight, with a strong focus on Power BI, structured data analysis, and cloud-based data platforms.
Key Requirements
- Active Security Clearance (SC) - must be current and transferable
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst within central government or regulated environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including:
- Dashboard and report development
- DAX and semantic model design
- Data visualisation best practice and governance
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality analysis, dashboards, and MI products to support decision-making
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
- Work with data engineers and architects to define data requirements and models
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and adherence to governance standards
- Present insights clearly to senior stakeholders and operational teams
- Support continuous improvement of analytical capability across the programme
Working Pattern
- 1-2 days per week on-site in London or Manchester
- Remaining days remote, offering a flexible hybrid working model
