Financial Modeller (Contract) - Hybrid | Active SC Clearance | 6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeller to develop, maintain, and assure robust financial, cost, and investment appraisal models supporting complex programmes and strategic decision-making.

Working closely with finance, commercial, programme, and technical stakeholders, you will provide analytical insight for business cases, investment decisions, commercial evaluations, and value-for-money assessments.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in developing transparent, auditable financial models, conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and validating financial assumptions and datasets.

You will be responsible for translating complex technical and operational requirements into clear financial outputs and presenting findings to governance and decision-making forums.

Key Skills & Experience

Required: Advanced Excel financial modelling, including complex formulae, structured workbook design, and model assurance.

Financial modelling, cost modelling, investment appraisal, and business case analysis experience.

Scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, options appraisal, and cost-benefit analysis.

Strong understanding of modelling best practice, governance, auditability, and quality assurance.

Data validation, financial analysis, and reporting skills.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation abilities.

Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Active SC Clearance is essential for this position.
