We are seeking an experienced Senior Incident Manager to join a high-profile government and defence programme, delivered through Sanderson Government & Defence. This is a critical role supporting complex, high-security environments where resilience and rapid response are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of major incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal business impact
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams during high-pressure situations
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical service disruptions
- Drive continuous improvement in incident management processes and response strategies
- Produce clear post-incident reports, identifying root causes and preventative actions
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in senior or lead incident management roles
- Proven ability to manage major incidents in complex, secure environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within government, defence, or similarly regulated sectors
- Active DV clearance is highly desirable (or SC)
Additional Details:
- Hybrid working: 3 days per week onsite in London or Milton Keynes
- Competitive daily rate with additional shift allowance
- Immediate start preferred
