What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and delivering Safety and Environmental Management Plans aligned with Safety Management System requirements
- Leading safety processes and producing key artefacts, including Hazard Logs and Safety & Environmental Case Reports
- Reviewing and assuring technical input from suppliers, supporting senior engineering and safety stakeholders
- Managing safety relationships across a wide stakeholder group, including regulatory bodies and range operators
- Ensuring testing activities are conducted safely and in line with relevant standards and aviation regulations
- Identifying, assessing, and managing technical hazards to support safe system development and trials
- Advising on safety and environmental requirements during contract development
- Supporting the wider growth of safety engineering capability within the weapons and effectors domain
