Position: Network Operations Engineer
Location: Newport / Portsmouth / Stevenage
Day Rate: £453 per day inside IR35
SC Clearance Required
We are working with a leading defence consultancy who are looking for an experienced Network Operations Engineer to support and maintain critical client network infrastructure.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting LAN environments including access switches, wireless access points/controllers and cabling
- Managing WAN technologies such as core routers, firewalls and third-party network links
- Supporting networked services including Cisco telephony, Skype for Business devices and video conferencing systems
- Ensuring all work complies with strict client policies, security requirements and technical standards
This is a hands-on contract role supporting secure, business-critical networks in a high-assurance environment.
