Analyze customer requirements and produce both high-level and low-level network designs, leveraging technologies from multiple leading vendors.
Evaluate customer strategy, operations, and processes, proposing technical solutions to improve efficiency and business performance.
Provide technical leadership and ownership to guide the design and delivery of solutions across the project life cycle.
Apply broad networking knowledge, including protocols, cyber monitoring tools, and technologies such as Juniper switching and configuration, WAN routing (MPLS, BGP), network gateways, VPNs, remote access solutions (e.g., AnyConnect), network encryption and tunnelling, Cisco Firepower, F5 TLS Intercept, Packet Brokers, Tap Aggregators, Gigamon, SNMP, TCP, TLS/cryptography, PKI, HTTP, and Sockets API. Familiarity with Endace technologies, HSMs, virtualization, and scripting is desirable.
Design and implement solutions for collecting, analysing, and storing security event data, including automation and orchestration of incident response workflows.
Participate in requirements gathering and development of concise solution documentation ('solutions on a page').
Conduct performance testing of cyber monitoring tools, including sizing, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
Maintain a solid understanding of the end-to-end project lifecycle and associated commercial and operational risks.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, mitigating business, technical, and operational risks.
Coordinate with other technical architects and engineers, collaborating across multiple teams, supporting project managers in planning, reporting, service readiness, and live service support.
Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
