Shape the future of secure government infrastructure. We are supporting a major central government organisation in strengthening and modernising its secure IT estate. As part of this long-term transformation programme, we are looking for Virtualisation Engineers at multiple experience levels - from early-career professionals to seasoned specialists.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll join a collaborative technical team responsible for maintaining, improving, and supporting complex virtualised environments.
- Your day-to-day work may include:
- Providing first and second-line support for incidents and technical issues
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring stable, secure operations
- Creating and maintaining documentation to support knowledge sharing
- Supporting compliance with internal processes, standards, and policies
- Contributing to continual service improvement initiatives

- Red Hat technologies (e.g., Satellite 6, RHEL/CentOS, CoreOS)
- Active Directory administration (OU structure, RBAC, DFS)
- VSAN, SCVMM, Hyper-V
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Git)
- Awareness of McAfee EPO/ENS
