We are supporting a specialist cyber security SME as they expand a central government delivery team, and we are seeking an Information Assurance Consultant with strong GovAssure and NCSC CAF experience.
You will play a key role providing independent assurance, supporting senior stakeholders, and helping government departments understand, assess, and improve their cyber security maturity.
The Role
- Deliver GovAssure-aligned assurance assessments
- Lead CAF evidence gathering, maturity scoring and reporting
- Provide pragmatic, actionable recommendations to improve security posture
- Support audit readiness and ongoing assurance activities
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience delivering GovAssure and NCSC CAF-aligned assurance
- Governance, risk assessment and risk treatment planning
- CAF evidence gathering, maturity scoring and assurance reporting
- Stakeholder engagement including SIROs and risk owners
- Security architecture and protective controls (IAM, Zero Trust, network, endpoint)
