Overview
We're looking for an experienced Boundary Service Lead to oversee the delivery, operation and continuous improvement of network boundary security services within a highly secure environment. This role combines operational leadership, service management and technical oversight across critical boundary security technologies, ensuring the availability, security and resilience of key network services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of secure network boundary services and operations.
- Manage security monitoring, incident response and service performance.
- Oversee boundary security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS and related security controls.
- Drive continuous service improvement and operational excellence.
- Lead, mentor and develop technical teams.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance and audit requirements.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide regular service reporting.
Essential Requirements
- Current DV Clearance (Developed Vetting) - Essential
- Ability to work onsite near Farnborough five days per week
- Significant experience in network security, cyber security operations or boundary security environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing security operations or managed service teams.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM and threat monitoring technologies.
- Experience leading incident response and service delivery within secure environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience within Defence, Government or National Security environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security or equivalent.
- Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco or similar security platforms.
- Knowledge of secure network architecture and cyber security best practice.
Please note: Current DV Clearance and the ability to work onsite near Farnborough five days per week are mandatory requirements for this role.
