AWS Data Engineer - SC Cleared UK (Remote/Hybrid) | £490 per day | 6 Months | Inside IR35We're seeking an experienced SC Cleared AWS Data Engineer to support a high-profile Central Government programme delivering critical data capabilities within a secure cloud environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to nationally significant work while leveraging modern AWS and data engineering technologies.
Key Responsibilities Design, build, and optimise scalable cloud-based data pipelines on AWSDevelop and maintain robust ETL processes to support complex data integration requirements Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using Terraform Work within established CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, reliable deployment of data solutions Process, transform, and analyse large datasets using distributed frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, and stakeholders across government Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (data-focused services preferred)Proven expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Experience working with Git Lab and implementing CI/CD pipelines Practical experience building data pipelines in AWS (e. g.
Informatica or similar)Strong background in data processing and transformation Proficiency in Python and Py Spark Essential Requirements Active SC Clearance (must be valid and transferable)Demonstrable experience working within UK Central Government environments Strong understanding of working in secure, regulated, or classified environments Ability to work effectively within structured delivery frameworks Desirable Experience with large-scale or legacy system migration to cloud Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in public sector environments This role offers an immediate start for the right candidate.
