Financial Modeller (Contract) - Hybrid | Active SC Clearance | 6-Month Contract | Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeller to develop, maintain, and assure robust financial, cost, and investment appraisal models supporting complex programmes and strategic decision-making. Working closely with finance, commercial, programme, and technical stakeholders, you will provide analytical insight for business cases, investment decisions, commercial evaluations, and value-for-money assessments.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in developing transparent, auditable financial models, conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and validating financial assumptions and datasets. You will be responsible for translating complex technical and operational requirements into clear financial outputs and presenting findings to governance and decision-making forums.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Advanced Excel financial modelling, including complex formulae, structured workbook design, and model assurance.
  • Financial modelling, cost modelling, investment appraisal, and business case analysis experience.
  • Scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, options appraisal, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Strong understanding of modelling best practice, governance, auditability, and quality assurance.
  • Data validation, financial analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Active SC Clearance is essential for this position.
