We are seeking an experienced IT Service Manager to support a long term critical public sector programme within a secure environment. The successful candidate will hold active UKSV DV clearance and bring strong experience delivering and managing IT services across complex stakeholder landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage IT service delivery in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs
  • Own and continuously improve ITSM processes, aligned to ITIL best practice
  • Act as the primary interface between technical teams, end users, and senior stakeholders
  • Manage incident, problem, change, and service transition activities
  • Support service governance, reporting, and continual service improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

  • Active UKSV Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
  • Proven experience working within the UK public sector, ideally on secure or defence programmes
  • Strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Solid working knowledge of ITIL (certification preferred)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience operating within large, complex or multi-supplier environments
  • Background in defence, security, or central government organisations
