Role Overview
We are seeking an SC-cleared Denodo Data Engineer to join a central government data platform programme. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach.
You will work within a delivery team to build and deliver base and integration views across connected systems, supporting data migration and platform modernisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver base and integration views from connected data systems
- Build and optimise data pipelines to support data migration
- Support automation and assist with code creation and testing
- Perform complex data transformations and processing using appropriate coding languages
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and contribute to workshops
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Denodo experience
- Proven understanding of Denodo VDB performance, optimisation, and security patterns, including:
- Query delegation
- Caching strategies
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Some understanding of legacy government data warehouse estates
Security Requirements
Candidates must hold active SC Clearance with a UK government department, transferable where required.
