We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support a high-profile government project based in Corsham. The successful candidate will oversee procurement activities and approval processes, ensuring compliance with MOD procurement frameworks and governance requirements while supporting the progression of the project's business case.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the project team in navigating procurement and approval processes.
- Ensure procurement activities align with MOD frameworks, policies, and governance requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders to facilitate timely approvals and procurement decisions.
- Provide procurement expertise to support business case development and delivery.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience managing procurement activities within MOD frameworks or other UK Government departments.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and governance.
- Experience supporting complex programmes or projects through procurement and approval stages.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term programme, with the potential for contract extension through to March 2028.
