Business Analyst | National Security | Cheltenham | £40,000 - £90,000

About the Opportunity

We're working with a number of organisations in the Cheltenham area who are growing their teams across national security programmes. Our clients range from boutique consultancies to established primes, all delivering complex, high-impact work in secure environments.

These are not typical BA roles - they can offer genuine autonomy, client influence, and the opportunity to shape meaningful outcomes within some of the UK's most important programmes.

The Role

We're looking for experienced Business Analysts who can work embedded within national security programmes, owning problems end-to-end from discovery and strategy through to delivery. Roles vary by client, but all require strong stakeholder engagement, analytical rigour, and the ability to operate with a high degree of independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients through complex transformation programmes in national security and public sector environments
  • Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across programme workstreams
  • Work closely with client stakeholders to shape practical, outcome-focused solutions
  • Operate in lean teams with accountability for delivery quality

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in consulting or client-facing delivery roles
  • Exposure to public sector, central government, or regulated environments
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ambitious, self-starting individuals who enjoy responsibility and ownership
  • eDV clearance is an essential requirement - only eDV-cleared candidates will be considered

Further Details

  • Location: Cheltenham
  • Clearance: eDV essential
  • Salary: £40,000 - £90,000 depending on experience + performance bonus
