With unlimited overtime available every week, paid at time and a half, many of our electricians are currently taking home over £52,500 annually. That’s in addition to a company vehicle with unlimited personal use, a weekly fuel allowance, and 33 days of paid holiday each year.
This role is reactive, planned maintenance, and compliance — not project work. You’ll be trusted to carry out your duties without micromanagement, working independently while being backed by a supportive team and management structure.
Qualifications & Training Provided
Core Electrical (Essential)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018 A2)
- City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) – Inspection & Testing
Commercial & Specialist Training (Provided if needed)
- PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing)
- Emergency Lighting Systems (Design, Install & Maintenance)
- Fire Alarm Systems (BS5839)
- Data Cabling & Structured Wiring
- EV Charging Point Installation (City & Guilds 2919)
Optional Upskilling
- Renewable & Low-Carbon Technologies (e.g. Solar PV, Battery Storage)
- Heat Pump & Hybrid System Electrics
- High Voltage Training (for commercial/industrial environments)
Role Overview
- Reactive electrical maintenance (diagnosing and fixing faults quickly and safely)
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep systems running efficiently
- Compliance testing & certification in line with UK regulations
- Fault finding and diagnostics on:
- Consumer units & distribution boards
- Single & three-phase systems
- Emergency lighting and fire alarm systems
- Heating controls and power supplies
- EV chargers and renewable systems
