Are you a Gas Engineer ready to take your earnings and career to the next level? With unlimited overtime available every week, paid at time and a half, many of our engineers are currently taking home over £52,500 annually. That’s in addition to a company vehicle with unlimited personal use, a weekly fuel allowance, and 33 days of paid holiday each year. This is a role built on trust. Only Domestic Qualified? No Problem – We’ll Get You Fully Upskilled. If you currently hold only domestic gas qualifications, we’ll invest in your development with full training and access to industry-recognised certifications. You’ll gain the qualifications needed to work across a range of commercial and specialist systems:
- Commercial Gas (Core & Appliances): COCN1 – Core Commercial Gas Safety, CODNCO1 – Domestic to Commercial Crossover, ICPN1 – First Fix Commercial Pipework, CIGA1 and CDGA1 – Indirect and Direct Fired Commercial Appliances, TPCP1 and TPCP1A – Testing and Purging of Commercial Installations.
- Commercial Catering: COMCAT 1 to 5 – Covers fryers, ovens, cookers, steamers, and combination units, CCCN1 – Core Commercial Catering Gas Safety.
- LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas): CONGLP1 PD, RPH, LAV, B – LPG Changeover and specialist applications.
- Air Conditioning & F-Gas: F-Gas Category 1 – For installation, servicing, and repair of A/C and refrigeration systems. Includes training on split and multi-split systems.
Optional Add-Ons: OFTEC – Oil heating system qualifications, Heat Pump Training – For low-temperature and renewable systems.
Who You’ll Work With: You’ll be supporting a wide variety of well-known national brands and trusted maintenance providers, including:
- Merlin Entertainment (Blackpool Tower, Sea Life Centre, Madame Tussauds)
- Mitchells & Butlers (1,784 managed pubs, bars, and restaurants)
- Admiral Taverns (Over 1,600 community pubs)
- Heineken UK (Star Pubs & Bars, approx. 2,400 sites)
- Cloud FM Group (Wolseley, Krispy Kreme, The Range, Fridays, and more)
- Harry Ramsden's (Britain's longest-established restaurant chain)
- Barlow's (NICEIC Approved Contractor & Maintenance Provider)
- City FM (Co-op Stores, ASDA, M&S, B&Q, and more)
You’ll also regularly work with a broad range of private commercial clients, giving you variety and further experience in your daily role.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Work independently and confidently across heating, plumbing, hot water, and gas systems.
- Be reliable, presentable, and customer-focused.
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on:
- S-Plan systems
- Boilers with switched live wiring.
- Unvented cylinders.
- Zone valves.
- Pumps.
- Heating controls.
- Hold relevant domestic gas qualifications as a minimum (e.g. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1, CPA1). We’ll provide the rest.
