£650-£750 per day - Umbrella engagement - 6 month initial contract - 2/3 days per week on site in London
We're looking for an experienced Senior Data Product Owner / Head of Data Product /Data Product Manager to join a major retail organisation and lead the next phase of a strategic data and insights platform , providing brands and suppliers with valuable commercial and customer insights.
This is a high-profile role sitting across Product, Data, Digital and Commercial teams , with responsibility for shaping the product roadmap, establishing effective governance and driving delivery. You'll need to be comfortable operating in a complex retail environment, bringing structure to ambiguity and translating data and commercial requirements into clear product priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Own, refine and prioritise the product roadmap , balancing commercial value, customer needs, dependencies and technical feasibility.
Translate retailer, supplier and brand requirements into clear outcomes, epics and success measures.
Own and prioritise the product backlog, working closely with data, engineering and digital teams .
Establish effective product governance, operating models and ways of working across multiple teams.
Lead product discovery to validate requirements and identify opportunities for new data and insight capabilities.
Manage dependencies, release planning and delivery priorities.
Communicate roadmap decisions, progress and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders.
Define KPIs around adoption, engagement and commercial performance .
What We're Looking For
Strong Product Owner / Product Management experience within complex organisations.
Proven experience owning product roadmaps and backlogs across multiple delivery teams.
Experience delivering data, analytics, insight or data monetisation products .
