About The Role

Sanders Senior Living is expanding its portfolio with several new‑build care home development projects. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support our growing construction programme. This role will be responsible for managing costs, preparing budgets, gathering contractor quotations, and supporting the delivery of new care home projects from early planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for new‑build care home projects.
  • Source, request and analyse quotations from contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor project finances, valuations, variations and payment applications.
  • Provide clear cost reporting to senior management.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven site management experience on construction projects (mandatory).
  • Previous experience as a quantity surveyor within residential, healthcare or similar construction sectors.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, procurement routes and project timelines.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting abilities.
  • A driving licence and access to a car is essential for this role.
