Minibus Driver & Activities Coordinator (30 Hours per Week)

Location: Wilton Manor Care Home, Melton Mowbray
Hours: 30 hours per week (flexibility required, including some weekends)

Are you friendly, outgoing, and passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for a Minibus Driver & Lifestyle Coordinator to join our vibrant team at Sanders Senior Living – Wilton Manor. This is a unique and rewarding role combining driving responsibilities with planning and delivering engaging activities for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive our residents to and from outings, appointments, and community events in the home’s minibus.
Engage and build strong connections with residents, understanding their interests and preferences.
Work closely with our Lifestyle Lead to help design and deliver a varied, fun, and meaningful activity programme.
Collaborate with our Marketing Team to capture engaging photos and videos for social media, showcasing the life and vibrancy of Wilton Manor.
Support the team in ensuring all activities are inclusive, person-centred, and enriching.
Assist with the setup, running, and participation in daily activities within the home.
Ensure the minibus is well-maintained, clean, and safe for residents at all times.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid D1 driving licence (essential for driving our minibus).
A friendly, dynamic, and approachable personality with a natural ability to engage others.
An eye for detail and creativity, especially when supporting the marketing team with content creation.
A flexible attitude, with availability to work some weekends as required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older people.
Good knowledge of the local area, including routes, points of interest, and community venues.
Previous experience working in a care home or similar setting, with an understanding of residents\’ needs and preferences.
Experience supporting or coordinating activities and events.
Basic photography or videography skills to assist with content for social media.
