As a Care Team Manager at Sanders Senior Living, you will demonstrate professionalism, kindness, and compassion while planning and delivering high-quality care that keeps residents safe, respected, and independent. You will lead a team of Care Assistants to uphold the highest care standards, keep accurate records, and communicate effectively with colleagues. You will support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager by providing physical, social, and emotional care to residents. You will also handle medication and ensure medication audits are completed accurately.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Care Assistants and ensure adherence to high care standards.
- Plan and provide person-centred care, with a focus on dementia care.
- Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and involved parties.
- Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in delivering holistic care.
- Manage medication responsibilities and complete medication audits to maintain order.
Qualifications
- Experience leading care teams and delivering high-quality care to residents.
- Expertise in person-centred care planning and dementia care.
- Strong relationship-building and organisational skills.
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care is advantageous but not essential.
