Are you passionate about books, learning, and inspiring young minds? Sanders Draper is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and organised School Librarian to champion a culture of reading and curiosity across our campus.
Role Overview
In this role, you will not only manage books but also curate a vibrant hub of imagination, digital literacy, and discovery for our students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Foster a love for reading by guiding students to their next favourite book and hosting engaging literacy events such as book fairs and author visits.
- Maintain, organise, and modernise the library collection, ensuring it reflects a diverse and inclusive world.
- Support digital literacy initiatives and maintain the library’s digital resources.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate library resources into curriculum plans.
- Oversee the upkeep of the library space and manage staff or volunteer support as needed.
