We are Sandberg, a leading international language service provider. We provide professional translation, localisation and other language services to our clients, helping them communicate their message to new audiences. If you have a flair for languages and you are interested in online projects that can be completed remotely from home in a free online tool, then we would love to hear from you!
For this work, you do not have to be a qualified translator. We are looking for people who:
- Are native speakers of one of the following languages: Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch (Netherlands), Dutch (Belgium)
- Live in the country of their native language (i.e. Norway for native Norwegian speakers)
- Can collaborate with us remotely as independent freelance contractors
- Have a good level of English (all project communication will be in English)
- Are flexible, good at following instructions, and can work independently
- Are fast learners and good at picking up new tools
- Have basic computer skills and are familiar with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint; have general knowledge of online communication tools such as Microsoft Teams
- Are detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
- Are highly organised and self-motivated
- Accept that the content they work on may be used by our client in training AI tools
Your tasks will include:
- Annotation tasks, including grading, judging, adding tags, etc., to different types of written content
We will expect you to:
- Use a free online tool to carry out the work
- Follow instructions, project updates and FAQs
- Perform the tasks assigned to you to a high standard
- Be registered/able to register as a freelancer/sole trader in your country
- Be available for the duration of the project and able to commit to the minimum hours required per week
Duration and workload:
- The work will begin on 7th April 2025, but you must be available from 1st April for pre-project training
- You will need to be available for up to 40 hours of work per week (10 hours as a minimum requirement)
- The expected duration of the project is 4 months
- Before starting the work, there is a vetting and onboarding process to complete
- You will also be asked to complete training, which will be paid as long as all steps are carried out and you pass the training certifications
- Once in our community, we may also offer you work for other projects
