Workshop Controller

We are currently looking to recruit a WorkshopController at Sandal Wakefield. The importance of this key role is paramount to Sandal; being one of the largest privately owned BMW/MINI Retailers in the area, our aim is to deliver a premium serviceto our customers.

We’re looking for a logical, analytical thinker to bring their energy and attention to detail to this role, someone who is naturally results and outcomes focused to deliver the best experience possible for our customers.

Reporting directly to theServiceManageryou will be responsible for:

Supervising the Workshop and its staff in order to achieve an agreed level of quality, efficiency and profitability

Carrying out Quality Control checks to ensure that the work carried out meets the highest level of customer expectation and to confirm that good working practices are being applied.

Monitoring and measuring repeat repairs in order that preventative actions may be implemented as required.

This is a great opportunity for an existingWorkshop Controller, or an established accomplished Senior Service Advisor, Controller, or Senior Technician who is ready to take the next step in their career with a prestige brand.

TheServiceDepartment at Sandal Wakefield is a fast moving facility with a 24 bay Workshop, Tyre Bay, Valet Bay and MOT facility.We are looking for acandidate to add value and to contribute to the ongoing success of company.You will be a confident professional who has an ability to organise their team. By offering solutions and advice you will maintain good levels of communication withinthe Sandal Group.

We will providean in-depth training programme that will allow thesuccessfulcandidate to take charge of key areas of the department,organisingtheir staff and ensuring that ourbusinessobjectives are achieved.

We offer:

An attractive salary with bonuses with an OTE over £45,000 with a basic of £38,000. Plus realistic opportunities to earn more.

24 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), which increases with your length of service up to 26 days

An extra paid day off for your birthday

Access to a car benefit scheme

Previous retail motor industry experience, at dealership level is essential, as is a full driving licence.
