Role Overview:

The Senior Analyst – Healthcare (Mid-Market) will play a pivotal role in expanding Sand Martins Advisory’s presence in the healthcare sector across all our offices. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this senior role involves leveraging expertise in healthcare M&A to drive new business opportunities, deliver exceptional advisory services, and support the Group’s strategic objectives. The role offers a mix of client engagement, market analysis, and transaction execution responsibilities, making it an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sector Expansion: Work closely with the Group CEO to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for expanding Sand Martins Advisory’s presence in the healthcare sector. Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the global healthcare M&A landscape, providing actionable insights to drive growth.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with healthcare businesses, investors, and other stakeholders. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business models, goals, and transaction needs.
  • Transaction Support: Lead the execution of healthcare-focused M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, and deal structuring. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct detailed research on the healthcare sector to identify new opportunities and provide strategic recommendations. Develop and present high-quality reports, market overviews, and client presentations.
  • Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across our global offices to share insights and best practices. Act as a bridge between the healthcare sector and the broader organization, aligning efforts with company goals.
  • Travel and Representation: Travel regionally and internationally as required to meet clients, attend conferences, and support business development. Participate in two annual trips to Dubai or the UK for team alignment and strategic planning.
  • Problem Solving and Leadership: Address challenges with innovative solutions, demonstrating a strong desire to win and drive results. Act as a leader within the healthcare team, mentoring junior staff and contributing to a culture of excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or a related field, with a significant focus on the healthcare sector.
  • Sector Expertise: Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory considerations.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced financial analysis and valuation skills, with proficiency in relevant tools and software.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
