If you would like to be part of an exciting opportunity to support the school in shaping a meaningful curriculum at to engage our cohort of learners, you have the ability to see the \’whole\’ child (including Communication, Language & Interaction, Cognition & Learning, Self Help & Independence, Sensory & Physical and Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs), and you are committed to the education of pupils with a wide range of learning and associated difficulties this could be the position for you, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Responsibilities

  • Join our dedicated and friendly team in school as a complex needs Special Educational Needs Teacher (SEN) with experience of working with young people with autism and speech and language delays.
  • Support the school in shaping a meaningful curriculum and engage learners across the whole spectrum of needs, including Communication, Language & Interaction, Cognition & Learning, Self Help & Independence, Sensory & Physical and Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs.
  • Demonstrate a passion for working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with young people with autism and speech and language delays.
  • A strong commitment to the education of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
