We’re partnering with a leading global consultancy to appoint a Technology Pre & Post Deal Associate Director into their rapidly growing deals practice. This unique opportunity sits at the intersection of technology and M&A, working with Private Equity houses, PE-backed businesses, FTSE-listed organisations, Fortune 500 firms, and founder-led companies across multiple sectors.
As an Associate Director, you’ll lead and deliver technology due diligence and post-deal value creation engagements. This includes assessing technology functions across areas such as architecture, cyber, data, AI, and product, while supporting clients through complex transactions and transformation programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading technology due diligence (buy-side and sell-side), identifying risks, opportunities, and value drivers
- Advising on integrations, separations, carve-outs, and divestments
- Developing synergy assessments, Day 1 readiness plans, and Day 100 value creation roadmaps
- Engaging directly with C-suite stakeholders, investors, and deal teams
- Supporting the growth of the practice through client development and team leadership
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Strong consulting experience within a top-tier consultancy, boutique advisory, or deals-focused environment
- Proven track record in technology due diligence and/or post-deal transformation
- Deep understanding of technology as a function, ideally across cyber, data, AI, or product domains
- Experience delivering integration and separation programmes in M&A contexts
