You will own the end-to-end finance value story: from pre-deal diligence (finance capability due diligence) through to post-close transformation. This will include: finance operating model design, FP&A and performance management uplift, shared services/GBS optimisation, ERP-enabled change, finance cost reduction, and AI-enabled finance transformation. You will be the trusted advisor to CFOs, CEOs and PE sponsors across PE backed organisations and global corporations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish yourself as a recognised leader in Finance Capability Due Diligence and Value Creation both internally and externally.
  • Build a sustainable pipeline of Private Equity and corporate opportunities across Deals, CFO Advisory, and Value Creation.
  • Deliver high-quality client outcomes with measurable value creation (cost savings, speed-to-close, improved FP&A, stronger controls).
  • Develop and scale the Finance Value Creation team and create a standout 'diligence to implementation' proposition that consistently converts Due Diligence findings into post-deal transformation work.

Experience needed

  • 12+ years in consulting, private equity, or senior finance leadership.
  • Deep expertise across finance operating models, transformation, FP&A, MI/KPI frameworks, shared services/GBS, finance process optimisation, controls & governance, ERP programmes, finance cost reduction, transaction support, integration/separation, and finance data & analytics.
  • Proven experience supporting Private Equity-backed businesses, understanding deal processes and the role of finance throughout the investment lifecycle.
  • A track record of managing senior relationships (CFO, CEO, PE stakeholders) and driving business development in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercially astute, growth-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about developing talent and building market-leading propositions.
