We are representing a global consultancy that is looking for a Finance Transformation Director to help grow their mid-market private sector (Retail, FMCG, Pharma, Life Science etc) practice. This will be an industry agnostic role and will entail looking at harnessing digital technologies and best practices to modernise clients’ finance function, accelerate performance, and realise their strategic goals.

You will help lead complex finance transformation projects and facilitate senior-level workshops. You will take ownership of business development activities, including shaping RFP responses, preparing and presenting proposals, and identifying new opportunities through networking and client relationship building. You will lead go-to-market strategies, drive cross-functional collaboration, and mentor junior team members. This is an ideal role for someone who is currently a Senior Manager or equivalent that is ready to make the step up, or a Director that is looking to specialise in the mid-market with clear progression into Partner.

Responsibilities:
  • Help lead complex finance transformation projects and facilitate senior-level workshops.
  • Take ownership of business development activities, including shaping RFP responses, preparing and presenting proposals, and identifying new opportunities through networking and client relationship building.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies, drive cross-functional collaboration, and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications:
  • You must be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with a strong consulting background in finance transformation or ERP-enabled initiatives and broad private sector experience.
  • You will bring proven business development experience, strong stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills.
  • You should be comfortable leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing multiple workstreams, and delivering successful outcomes on time and within budget, while taking a strategic, commercial, and client-focused approach.
