The main purpose of this role is to support the management and delivery of property-related legal services to the Group ensuring compliance with regulations and business policies.The role of Legal Manager – Property will include:Manage programmes and initiatives affecting the Group's property portfolio to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulationAssist in managing the Group’s external legal providers, ensuring the delivery of a quality service that represents value for moneyManage own caseload of legal work including sales, leases, infrastructure agreementsManage and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer serviceReview and update relevant policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsSkills and experiences:Solicitor, FILEX or Licenced ConveyancerMembership of relevant professional body (e.g. Law Society)Recent experience of managing property related legal transactionsProven achievement working in a commercially focussed legal roleWorking knowledge of property law, housing regulations and current best practiceExperience of managing projects with strong project management skillsProven experience of managing staffWhy work for us?We provide homes and care for more than 250,000 people in England and Scotland.
