A fantastic 12-month maternity cover opportunity for a Senior Reward Administrator to join our friendly Reward and Wellbeing team based at our Worcester Head Office. The Reward and Wellbeing team look after all aspects of pay, benefits, wellbeing and pensions across the Group, and this is a great chance for someone looking to build their experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Senior Reward Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our managers and colleagues with all things pay and job profiles, helping to ensure our processes are clear, consistent and fair. You’ll help keep our reward processes running smoothly. This includes managing administrative systems, responding to, and escalating queries where needed, and supporting colleagues with job profiles, salary benchmarking and a variety of Reward projects.

The role of Senior Reward Administrator will include:

  • Be the first point of contact for pay, job profile and terms & conditions queries, responding via our shared mailbox and providing a helpful and timely service
  • Offer clear and practical guidance to managers and employees, using internal policies and documents to ensure all advice is accurate and compliant
  • Run weekly reports to identify pay-related issues, raising and tracking queries through to resolution
  • Keep our administration trackers up to date, ensuring information is accurately recorded
  • Support the team with salary benchmarking, job profile administration, preparing and presenting information in a clear and concise way
  • Identify opportunities to improve how we work and suggest practical process improvements, and support the regular review of our Reward processes
  • Get involved in a variety of Reward projects as they arise, contributing to wider team priorities
  • Build strong working relationships with managers, People Services Business Partners and colleagues across the organisation

Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within Human Resources, payroll, reward, pensions or benefits is essential
  • Working knowledge of current HR legislation and good practice principles
  • Demonstrable experience of proactively managing a mailbox, escalating queries and dealing with confidential information with the highest level of integrity
  • Excellent knowledge of pay, benefits, payroll or HR administration processes
  • Some experience of drafting and reviewing job profiles
  • Ability to interpret computerised information and documentation
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise own workload
  • Basic SAP
  • Intermediate Microsoft 365, Word, Excel and Outlook
