Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting a Senior Social Worker to join the Locality Team in the Featherstone area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to contribute to safeguarding children and supporting families in need within a community-based service.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Social Worker

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments and produce clear, evidence-based reports.
  • Develop and implement Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection Plans.
  • Undertake Section 47 investigations and attend multi-agency meetings.
  • Progress cases through ICPCC, PLO, and court proceedings where required.
  • Work in partnership with families and partner agencies to safeguard and promote children\'s welfare.

Requirements of the Senior Social Worker

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience within a Locality Team or frontline statutory service.
  • Knowledge of CIN, CP, PLO, and court processes (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong assessment, organisational, and communication skills.
