Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments, care plans, and interventions
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Occupational Therapists, support workers, and students
  • Manage a caseload of service users with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective, person-centred care
  • Support the development of policies, protocols, and occupational therapy pathways
  • Liaise with clinicians, carers, external agencies, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
  • Post-qualification experience as an OT, ideally within mental health, secure services, or learning disabilities
  • Strong clinical reasoning and knowledge of assessment and treatment models
  • Experience in supervision, leadership, and supporting junior staff
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
