Key responsibilities:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments, care plans, and interventions
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Occupational Therapists, support workers, and students
- Manage a caseload of service users with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective, person-centred care
- Support the development of policies, protocols, and occupational therapy pathways
- Liaise with clinicians, carers, external agencies, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
- Post-qualification experience as an OT, ideally within mental health, secure services, or learning disabilities
- Strong clinical reasoning and knowledge of assessment and treatment models
- Experience in supervision, leadership, and supporting junior staff
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
