An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Pharmacy Technician to join a specialist healthcare facility in Gloucester. Based at The Dean Neurological Centre, this role offers the chance to work within a modern neurological service providing specialist care for individuals with complex long-term conditions. You will play a key role in supporting safe medicines management, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of clinical governance and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with GP services, multidisciplinary teams, and pharmacy providers to ensure timely medication ordering and secure receipt on site.
  • Respond promptly to medication safety alerts to prioritise patient safety.
  • Maintain secure storage and handling of medicines in line with best practice.
  • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings to support integrated care planning.
  • Support clinical governance processes and recommend improvements to practice.
