What You Will Do:

  • Conduct robust assessments and formulate care plans for individuals aged 16 and up in the Emergency Department and inpatient wards of our bustling 1200-bedded acute hospital.
  • Plan and coordinate follow-up care from primary care services to Mental Health Act assessments, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with various agencies to gather necessary information, contributing to comprehensive mental health assessments and care planning.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and liaison activities to support patient care and service delivery.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Social Worker, you will bring experience in assessing a variety of mental health presentations, ideally both functional and organic, in patients 16 years and older. Your role will drive forward effective mental health interventions and support across our services.
