An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist healthcare service in Bradley. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy assessments and interventions across the service
  • Conduct specialist dysphagia assessments and management plans tailored to individual service users
  • Support the Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in maintaining effective service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure care aligns with service users management plans
  • Provide expert SLT advice and consultation to colleagues involved in service users care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in line with statutory and organisational guidelines
  • Promote the wellbeing, dignity, and interests of all service users
  • Supervise junior staff members and students as directed by the line manager
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
  • Minimum of two years post-qualification experience
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and autism
  • Strong written communication and clinical documentation skills
  • Experience supporting junior staff or students
