What you will do

  • Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team, encouraging service users to engage actively in their care pathways.
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services, ensuring treatments, activities, and interventions are delivered effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of each patient's rehabilitation and progress.
  • Efficiently manage and support junior staff, fostering a culture of development and teamwork.
  • Support clinical team working, providing direct interventions and delivering engaging staff training programmes.

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • To be qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.
  • At least 3 years post-qualifying experience.
  • Experience in assessing individuals using various psychometrics and risk assessment tools.
  • The ability to work therapeutically, engaging individuals in developing insight and coping skills to manage their complex needs.
  • Experience in supervising and managing junior staff members.
  • A full and clean UK driving licence.
