What you will do
- Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team, encouraging service users to engage actively in their care pathways.
- Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services, ensuring treatments, activities, and interventions are delivered effectively.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of each patient's rehabilitation and progress.
- Efficiently manage and support junior staff, fostering a culture of development and teamwork.
- Support clinical team working, providing direct interventions and delivering engaging staff training programmes.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- To be qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 3 years post-qualifying experience.
- Experience in assessing individuals using various psychometrics and risk assessment tools.
- The ability to work therapeutically, engaging individuals in developing insight and coping skills to manage their complex needs.
- Experience in supervising and managing junior staff members.
- A full and clean UK driving licence.
