b Overview /b p In this role you will lead Sanctuary Groups Technology Portfolio Management Office to provide governance, planning and delivery assurance across a complex technology portfolio. You will partner with senior leaders to shape investment decisions, improve PMO maturity and ensure programmes align with strategic priorities. You will build an inclusive, high-performing PMO team and drive improvements in processes, tools and reporting. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership position with a clear impact on technology delivery and organisational outcomes. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 25 days annual leave (rising to 30) /li li pension scheme with employer contributions /li li Life Assurance /li li Employee Advice Service (counselling) /li li Cycle to Work scheme /li li Voluntary health plans and wellbeing tools /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Define and own the PMO strategy and operating model /li li Establish governance, assurance and delivery standards across a diverse portfolio /li li Provide independent insights to support portfolio decisions /li li Lead portfolio planning, demand-capacity and financial alignment for executive decisions /li li Ensure integrity of performance information and translate data into insights for stakeholders /li li Oversee cross-portfolio risks, issues and dependencies /li li Oversee portfolio financial performance including forecasting and investment appraisal /li li Lead and develop the PMO team to foster inclusion and continuous improvement /li li Promote a culture of collaboration and strong reputation for Technology Delivery /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Degree, management qualification or equivalent experience /li li Formal qualification in portfolio, programme or project management (e.g., P3O, APM PMQ, PRINCE2) /li li Experience of leading a PMO or portfolio function in a large, complex technology or transformation environment /li li Knowledge of governance, assurance and reporting frameworks at scale /li li Experience managing financial performance across multi-million-pound portfolios /li li Understanding of Agile, hybrid and Waterfall delivery methodologies /li li Advanced leadership and stakeholder management skills /li li Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities /li li Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills /li li Ability to translate complex technical information into accessible language /li li Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project and PowerPoint, with Word and Excel and Planview experience /li li Full driving licence and willingness to travel including overnight stays /li /ul ul li leadership /li li stakeholder management /li li communication /li li Microsoft Project /li li PowerPoint /li li Word /li /ul
