What you will do:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care that meets the hospital's objectives and standards.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, including the Hospital Director, Finance Manager, and Operations Manager, to achieve strategic goals and maintain operational excellence.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of clinical governance and quality assurance initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and manage resources effectively to sustain agreed activity levels, ensuring the hospital runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as Consultants, GPs, Integrated Care Systems, and Suppliers to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Oversee the administration of budgets, management reports, and supply contracts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC requirements and legal and professional care standards.
  • Lead clinical projects, drive innovation, and utilise business acumen to make informed decisions that enhance patient care.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members, cultivating a positive and inclusive work environment.
