Locum work offers exposure to diverse clinical environments and multidisciplinary teams, supporting your professional development and career progression. In this role, you will be part of a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Service, working with patients requiring specialised respiratory physiotherapy.
What you will do:
- Manage and deliver physiotherapy care for patients, undertaking complex assessments and developing specialised treatment programmes.
- Coordinate and implement rehabilitation programmes across ICU, HDU, and ward settings, advising staff on patient management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic clinical records in line with legal and departmental requirements.
- Refer patients to appropriate external agencies to support ongoing physiotherapy and future care needs.
- Mentor and support less experienced staff, encouraging learning and development.
- Share knowledge and skills gained through Continuous Professional Development (CPD) with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist is essential.
