What you will do:
- Conduct health assessments, including pre-employment and fitness for work evaluations, to ensure employees are fit and ready for their roles.
- Deliver comprehensive health surveillance programmes such as audiometry, spirometry, and vaccinations to maintain a healthy workforce.
- Provide expert advice on work-related health issues and recommend appropriate workplace adjustments for employee safety and comfort.
- Support managers and employees with absence management and return-to-work planning, facilitating smooth transitions and continuity of work.
- Promote employee wellbeing through engaging health promotion initiatives that encourage a culture of health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant clinical records, ensuring privacy and adherence to legal standards.
Who we are looking for:
- A registered nurse (adult) who is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- While a qualification in Occupational Health Nursing (degree or diploma) is desirable, evidence of ongoing CPD is essential.
- You should possess strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, along with knowledge of occupational health and workplace legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial, as is the capacity to manage caseloads independently and proactively.
