The Assistant Regional Head of Service - Service Operations sits at the core of the London Regional Operations structure, reporting directly to the Regional Head of Service. This role is a senior operational leadership position, forming part of the regional senior leadership team, with direct accountability for frontline service delivery across key operational functions.
The purpose of this role is to provide senior operational leadership across Repairs, Voids, and Estates within London Property Services. The role ensures high-quality service delivery, operational stability, performance improvement, and effective oversight of high-risk and high-volume frontline activities.
The role includes:
- Lead all operational teams delivering responsive repairs, voids, estates management, and associated services
- Drive performance improvement through structured accountability, coaching, and daily operational oversight
- Provide senior leadership during critical incidents, major service failures, and emergency operational responses
- Ensure contractor productivity, operational compliance, and consistent delivery standards
- Embed safe systems of work, particularly in High-Risk Buildings (HRBs), ensuring alignment with building safety legislation
- Support SLT reporting, operational insights, and strategic planning
Skills and experiences:
- Senior operational leadership experience in Property Services or equivalent
- Strong understanding of repairs, voids, estates and contractor management
- Proven experience managing operational risk and performance frameworks
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Strong ability to influence, engage and lead multidisciplinary teams
This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
