We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Occupational Therapist in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. What you will do:
- Manage complex cases involving long-term and chronic conditions, providing vital support to clients.
- Conduct manual handling assessments and develop comprehensive handling plans.
- Perform postural assessments and prescribe specialist seating and wheelchair solutions.
- Assess and implement environmental adaptations, recommending minor and major modifications such as stair lifts and fixed hoist systems.
- Supervise and mentor junior Occupational Therapists and OT Assistants.
- Autonomously manage a diverse community caseload, ensuring high-quality care and outcomes.
- Maintain exceptional clinical records and organisational skills for efficient workload management.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration (mandatory).
- Experience in complex adaptations and manual handling.
- Must be a car driver due to travel across Ceredigion.
