Job Description:

  • Leading a team of Care and Support Assistants
  • Working closely with staff to provide personal care and support to customers, encouraging independence and personal potential
  • Safe handling of medication
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers
  • Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments
  • Managing and implementing safeguarding principles to ensure customer safety

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience supervising a team
  • Personalised approach to care and support, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Recent experience working with vulnerable people
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, with a positive attitude
  • Strong organisational skills, functional literacy, and numeracy
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and best practices
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
