Your role
- Assess client needs and update support plans, signposting to education, training and employment opportunities
- Support clients with managing finances and welfare benefits
- Encourage social inclusion and help clients build confidence, resilience and self-esteem
- Work with agencies on behalf of clients, promoting choice and acting as an advocate when needed
- Promote safe working practices by completing risk assessments within legislative guidelines
Your skills
- Experience supporting people affected by domestic abuse or working in supported living
- Knowledge of housing management, including voids and arrears and health and safety of the building
- Understanding of occupancy agreements
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work on your own initiative
- Empathetic and non-judgmental with strong interpersonal skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards
- Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
