We are excited to be launching a new supported living service for individuals with mental health needs and are looking for a passionate and experienced manager to lead and shape this service from the outset.

About the role:

As the Local Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of the service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, recovery, and wellbeing. You will lead a team of support staff, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide strong, values-led leadership to the service team
  • Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred support
  • Oversee support planning, risk management, and service user outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation
  • Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and performance
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and external partners

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who is committed to delivering high-quality mental health support.

Essential:

  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience in managing Housing
  • Excellent understanding of acute mental health conditions and recovery-focused approaches
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage teams and drive service quality
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory requirements

Desirable:

  • Qualification or background as a Mental Health Practitioner (e.g. RMN, Social Worker, OT)
