The role of Bank Project Worker will include:

  • Regularly assessing the needs of customers by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment.
  • Supporting customers in their day to day living i.e., with cooking and cleaning.
  • Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions.
  • Assisting customers with managing finances and welfare benefits.
  • Encouraging social inclusion and helping customers to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem.
  • Ensuring Sanctuary Supported Living delivers its safeguarding responsibilities.

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience of working with vulnerable people.
  • A positive approach to working with young people who have a range of needs.
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills, with an approachable attitude.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of action/support planning, key working, risk assessment and safeguarding.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar.
  • NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards.
